Hello Fabric Friends, Wow…. what a terrific conference, it was such an inspiring week. There was incredible energy around creativity and making, and it was so fun to share my product collections—from Treasured Threadz panels and new embroidery folios to yo-yo patterns, and new inspiring books and guides. We even brought our favorite Love You To Pieces fabric pals and some holiday inspiration. |

One of the biggest themes we heard from attendees was upcycling — especially transforming everyday pieces like denim jackets, jeans, and other wardrobe staples through embellishment and decorative stitching. Shop owners and retailers are looking for approachable ways to bring these creative, personalized techniques to their customers. What really excited them was how Treasured Threadz panels offer exactly that—a way to create something meaningful without having to sew an entire garment from scratch. Just start with a piece you already have, add a panel, and make it your own with stitching or hand embroidery. |

There were so many ways to be involved at this show! We loved participating in the Fashion Boulevard exhibit during the H+H Show sharing ideas Treasured Threadz fabrics ! We received so much wonderful feedback, and many attendees stopped by our booth after seeing the display in the exhibit. Watch the video below for a closer look at the ensemble and the creative inspiration behind the upcycled fashion! |

One of the highlights at H + H Americas, was the Celebrate Your Style fashion show, which brought so much creativity and personality to the runway. It was such a fun way to see how makers and brands are expressing individuality through sewing, quilting, and design—everything from bold statement pieces to beautifully detailed garments. Here are two looks we LOVED! Be sure to follow my Instagram profile for more inspiring photos and videos from the show floor. |

Again, I'm so glad I decided to exhibit this year at H +H. What a stand out show! Cindy and I had such a wonderful trip and still have so much more to share from our adventures! On our way home, we made a fun stop in historic Hannibal, Missouri, during the annual Big River Steampunk Festival and Classic Car Show over Mother's Day weekend. Known as the boyhood home of Mark Twain, Hannibal is full of charm, history, river views, and great local shops. If you're ever passing through, we highly recommend stopping for coffee or lunch and visiting the lovely Hickory Stick Quilt Shop—it's definitely worth the detour! Pat Waelder has owned her shop for nearly 50 years. This photo is from a visit I made a few years back to the shop. Seeing industry friends like Pat from across the country was a highlight of the H & H show. More to come….. XO, Amy |
