We were always around the sewing machine Winter and Summer! |

Hi Fabric Friends, Although my face might not show it in this picture, I loved spending time like this with my Mom! Summer always meant sewing and craft time around my house. Whether it's with your kids, grandkids, neighbors, friends, or a sewing group, creating together is one of life's simple pleasures. Some of my favorite memories have come from gathering around a table, pulling out supplies, sharing stories, and seeing what everyone comes up with. You don't need fancy materials or a big plan. Just start with what you have and let your imagination lead the way. Here are a few projects that can bring you some inspiration! |

If you're anything like me, you probably have a large jar of buttons sitting around just waiting for the perfect project. Well, wait no further! I've always loved finding creative ways to turn buttons into something unexpected—whether it's a necklace, bracelet, pin, or another handmade accessory. |

I'm always looking for ways to use every bit of fabric, and my wonderful friend and talented artist, Jan Bryan-Hunt has created some incredible jewelry from scraps left over from my Treasured Threadz panels. These pieces were made using my Roses & Daisies panel along with little collected baubles she had around her house. Fabric-covered rings, bracelets, earrings, and other adornments can be made from the smallest pieces. It's a fun challenge and a great reminder that creativity often starts with what's already sitting in front of us. |

Once you've spent time making special pieces, it's nice to have a safe place to keep them—especially during summer travel. That's one reason I love the Fold & Go Folio pattern. It's a simple project that helps keep jewelry organized whether you're heading out on vacation, going to a retreat, or visiting family. I also love that it's another project you can make from fabrics you already have on hand. Choose fabrics that coordinate with your jewelry or use favorite scraps from previous projects to make it uniquely yours. To learn more about ways to customize different versions of the Fold & Go Folio, check out this video. |

This summer, I hope you'll take time to create with the people around you. Pull out the buttons, save the scraps, try something new, and don't worry about making it perfect. Sometimes the best projects are the ones that simply bring us together. XO, Amy |
