Everything is Coming up Roses & Daisies!

Hello Fabric Friends,

One of my favorite things to do on weekends or while traveling is visit public gardens. I've always loved photography, and over the years I've taken hundreds of photos of flowers from gardens all across the country. Whether it's a formal rose garden, a cottage garden overflowing with blooms, or a simple patch of daisies, I'm always inspired by the colors, textures, and details. It's probably no surprise that one of my favorite Treasured Threadz collections is Roses & Daisies.

If you read my last newsletter, you may remember the embellished denim jacket that was one of the most popular samples in our H+H booth. 

Today I wanted to share a few coordinating pieces, including a pair of embellished jeans that turn the jacket into a complete outfit. 

In this video, I'm sharing a closer look at some of the projects I've created with the Roses & Daisies panel, including the Crossbody Bag, Eyeglass Case, and Zipper Pouch patterns that are included with every panel.

The Crossbody Bag has become one of my favorites. Our finished bag measures 9” wide by 10” tall. It's the perfect size for travel—easy to tuck into your luggage and just as easy to throw on when you're ready for a day of sightseeing, shopping, or adventure. Watch video below! 

While I love the ease of working with Treasured Threadz, I also enjoy adding hand stitching and embroidery details to many of my projects. Flowers are one of my favorite motifs to stitch, whether I'm embellishing a jacket, personalizing a bag, or adding a special touch to a garment.
