What is the return window?
You may cancel your vacation for ANY reason up to two hours prior to scheduled departure and receive a full refund for your vacation, less the cost of the Travel Protection plan, including non-refundable airfares booked through Apple Vacations. If you cancel your vacation or change your travel dates, flight, duration, class of service, name, departure city, or destination, the charges shown in their cancellation policy become payable by you.
How will I receive my refund?
Reimbursement will be in the form of travel credit from Apple Vacations or a refund to the original form of payment based on the Travel Protection Plan type purchased. If you do not purchase Travel Protection Plus, any refunds due on air inclusive vacations after applicable penalties will be in the form of travel credits, except for contracted group bookings.
Are there any items that are non-returnable?
The following items are not refundable under Travel Protection Plus: "No Show" situations where the traveler does not check in and denied boarding situations are not covered. Non-refundable hotel rates. Air not purchased from Apple Vacations. Once travel has begun, there will be no refunds for any unused or partially used travel component for any reason.

Editor's Take
So here's the thing about Apple Vacations-they've basically been doing the all-inclusive vacation thing since before it was cool. Like, way before. We're talking 1969, when they literally introduced the concept to the U.S. market. That's over 50 years of figuring out how to get Americans to beaches in Mexico and the Caribbean without the headache of booking everything separately.
What makes them different? Well, they're the largest provider of what they call "Exclusive Nonstop Vacation Flights." Basically, they charter entire planes to get you directly to paradise-no layovers in Dallas or Atlanta eating overpriced airport sandwiches. Morning departures, evening returns. You maximize your beach time, which is kind of the whole point, right?
And the numbers are pretty wild. They move 3.2 million passengers annually to places like Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and various Caribbean islands. That's a lot of sunburned tourists. But it's not just about volume-they've built this vertically integrated system where they control everything from the flight to the hotel to the guy who picks you up at the airport. That Amstar representative you'll find in your hotel lobby? That's their person, ready to help with excursions or answer questions about where to find the best tacos.
The all-inclusive model they pioneered means your flights, hotel, food, drinks, and often activities are bundled into one price. No surprise charges when you order that third piña colada. No mental math at dinner wondering if you can afford dessert. It's all covered, which takes away that vacation budget anxiety that can make you feel like you're still working even when you're supposed to be relaxing.
They've expanded beyond just beach destinations too. Hawaii, Europe, even ski resorts now fall under their umbrella. And they're part of Apple Leisure Group, which is now owned by Hyatt Hotels Corporation-so there's serious hospitality infrastructure backing them up. They manage relationships with resort brands like Secrets, Dreams, Iberostar, and Riu, negotiating deals that individual travelers couldn't get on their own.
One thing people seem to appreciate is their flexibility with payments. They offer something called Flex Pay that lets you spread out the cost over time instead of dropping thousands all at once. And their Travel Protection Plus option? It's basically insurance that lets you cancel for almost any reason up to two hours before departure and get most of your money back (minus the protection plan cost). That's pretty generous in an industry known for strict cancellation policies.
The company's been through some evolution-started by two guys in Pennsylvania, grew into this massive operation, got acquired by private equity firms, merged with other travel companies, and eventually landed with Hyatt. But through all that, they've maintained their focus on making vacation planning simple. You pick your destination, dates, and hotel rating, and they handle the rest.
