Returns

What is the return window?
Products can be sent back only after you have completed and submitted the online Return Form available on the www.armani.com US Site within twenty (20) days of delivery. By completing the online return form you will receive your Return Number, which you must include on your return shipping label.

Do I need a receipt to return an item?
While the official policy doesn't explicitly state receipt requirements for online orders, you do need to complete the online return form to receive a Return Number. For retail store returns with a receipt, you can return for a full refund for 30 days. If after 30 days, they will give you store credit.

Are there any items that are non-returnable?
Sales of beachwear and underwear are final. The company reserves the right to designate on the site other non-returnable merchandise, and any such designation will be noted on the detail page of the merchandise which is non-returnable.

How will I receive my refund?
Refunds are processed within approximately three (3) business days of receipt of your merchandise. Your refund will be credited back to the same payment method used to make the original purchase. If you paid by credit card, refund times will depend on the credit or debit card company's policies. If you paid by PayPal, refunds will be credited to your PayPal account and will be visible immediately.

Can I return online purchases in-store?
The official website policy focuses on online returns through their return form system. Store return policies may vary by location, so it's best to contact your local Armani Exchange store directly to confirm their in-store return policy for online purchases.

Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Armani Exchange-it's basically Giorgio Armani's answer to making high fashion actually accessible. And honestly? It works.

Launched in 1991 in the United States, A|X retails fashion and lifestyle products inspired by 'street-chic culture' and dance music, positioned as the more accessible Armani brand. Think of it as the cool younger sibling in the Armani family-less stuffy, more urban, but still carrying that unmistakable Italian design DNA.

What's kind of fascinating is how early they jumped on the digital bandwagon. The line launched its armaniexchange.com site in 1995 and introduced online sales in 1997-which, if you remember the '90s internet, was pretty forward-thinking. They weren't just selling clothes; they were building a lifestyle brand that understood where culture was heading.

The collections hit that sweet spot between trendy and timeless. You'll find everything from sharp blazers and tailored pants to casual tees and accessories-all with clean lines and that signature Armani aesthetic, just without the four-figure price tags. The brand draws inspiration from New York, Milan, London, and Tokyo street scenes, which gives it this cosmopolitan edge that feels current without trying too hard.

And they've stayed connected to their roots in electronic music and club culture. Over the years, they've partnered with DJs like Tiësto and Martin Garrix, and they regularly transform their stores into music venues during events like Amsterdam Dance Event. It's not just marketing-it genuinely feels like part of the brand's identity.

With 270 stores across 31 countries, Armani Exchange has carved out its own space in the fashion world. It's for people who want that Armani sophistication but also need clothes that work for real life-whether you're heading to the office, meeting friends for drinks, or just want to look put-together without overthinking it. The quality's solid, the fits are modern, and the price point makes it actually attainable. Not bad for a brand that started as an experiment in democratizing luxury.
