Editor's Take

Art Impressions isn't just another craft company-it's basically the whimsical heart of the rubber stamp world, and honestly, that's not an exaggeration. Founded in Salem, Oregon back in 1987, this place started when Bonnie Krebs began creating and selling educational stamps at craft fairs around the Northwest. But here's where it gets interesting: Bonnie's talent has grown over the past 30 years to become one of the major stamp illustrators in the industry today.

What makes Art Impressions special isn't just their longevity-it's their approach. She has drawn over 8,000 images - from cute characters and animals, to artistic watercolor stamping techniques. That's not a typo. Eight thousand. And we're talking about hand-drawn, whimsical designs that somehow manage to be both professional and playful.

The company has this interesting manufacturing approach too. Since they create the stamps in Salem, Oregon, they have a 5-7 business day processing time before shipment, because they make the stamps to order just for you. In our instant-everything world, that's actually refreshing-like getting something genuinely handcrafted.

But here's what really sets them apart: their watercolor focus. They have tutorials on their YouTube Channel, and produce a new watercolor video every Wednesday. She often develops new stamping techniques and interactive card making ideas, revolutionizing the stamp industry with each new release. It's not just about stamping-it's about creating an entire artistic experience.

So yeah, if you're into watercolor stamping or just want to see what happens when someone spends 30+ years perfecting whimsical art, Art Impressions is worth checking out. They're not trying to be everything to everyone-they're just really, really good at what they do.
