What is the return window?
When receiving rolls of Backdrop Wallcoverings, please take time to thoroughly inspect for any potential defects- reach out to us at [email protected] within 30 days to report any claims.
Do I need a receipt to return an item?
Returns for purchases must include a valid proof of purchase, such as a receipt.
Are there any items that are non-returnable?
Please note that all sample stickers and apparel are final sale and Backdrop will not accept any returns of such items. Made-to-order five gallon containers, such as those used for exterior Standard Finish paint, do not qualify for returns. Memo samples are final sale.
How will I receive my refund?
Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment (credit card, PayPal, etc.), unless otherwise noted.

So here's the thing about Backdrop-they're basically what happens when someone gets fed up with the paint aisle at Home Depot and decides to do something about it. This online paint store promises easy color sampling and all the painting supplies you need sent directly to you with fast, free shipping.
And honestly? They've kind of nailed it. Their curated selection of over 50 premium interior paint colors comes in a durable semi-matte Standard Finish that's low odor, low VOCs, and green certified. But what really sets them apart is how they've streamlined the whole mess of choosing paint colors.
The company provides premium 12"x12" adhesive swatches that are an exact color match, making the sampling process easy and mess-free. No more tiny paint chips that look nothing like the actual color on your wall. These are actual paint samples you can stick right where you're planning to paint.
The backstory's pretty interesting too. Founded in 2018 by a team that clearly understood the paint industry needed a serious shake-up, Backdrop got acquired by F. Schumacher & Co. in May 2021. The reviews are pretty stellar too. People rave about how the paint goes on smoothly, covers well, and doesn't give you a headache from fumes. One customer noted they've used Farrow and Ball, Sherwin Williams, and Benjamin Moore paint and Backdrop was by far their favorite to paint with-it covered extremely well, didn't drip, didn't streak, was extremely smooth to paint with, dried quickly and didn't give them a headache like most paints with tons of fumes.
