Returns
What is the return window?
Customers have 30 days from the time of delivery to return item(s).
Are there any items that are non-returnable?
Items marked as "Final Sale" in the description are not eligible for return or exchange. If a final sale item is sent back with a return, the customer is responsible to pay for return shipping or the item will be donated. Items must have no trace of animal hair, deodorant, makeup, or strong smell such as perfume, body odor, or smoke. All swim returns must be in original condition with tags attached, hygienic liners in place, and no sign of wear, as swimwear is inspected for signs of prolonged wear and will be discarded if found.
Who pays for return shipping?
The cost of the return shipping label will be deducted from store credit as Baltic Born does not cover that cost. Return labels are sent via email within 24 business hours of the request. All qualifying returns within the United States and Canada receive free return shipping if purchased with the protection plan.
What if I received a damaged or incorrect item?
If you received an incorrect item or are missing an item from your order, please reach out to the customer service team within 14 days of the package delivery, and keep a hold of the shipping packaging as well as the order packing slip while they investigate. If you receive a damaged item, reach out to [email protected] within 14 days of receiving your package (7 days for express shipping orders). If an item has been worn or washed, it no longer qualifies for damage compensation or a return.
Editor's Take
So here's the thing about Baltic Born-it's basically what happens when three sisters decide the fashion industry is doing women dirty, and they're not having it anymore.
Back in 2016, Allison, Angela, and Marianne looked around and noticed something kind of infuriating. Dresses that didn't accommodate growing bellies. Bridesmaid sizes that left friends out of wedding parties. Clothes that looked amazing on the hanger but completely failed the "bend down to pick up a toddler" test. They took out a $20,000 loan (terrifying when you're broke, by the way) and launched what would become a beloved women's clothing brand shipping worldwide to over 30 countries.
The Baltic Born origin story has that Scandinavian heritage twist-their great-great-great-grandfather was literally the tailor for the Danish king. Fashion's genuinely in their blood. But none of them had business degrees. They Googled their way through pricing strategies and product creation, working side jobs to pay down that loan as fast as humanly possible.
What makes them different? They obsess over fit. Like, really obsess. Elastic waists that grow with you through pregnancy. Classic silhouettes you'll wear season after season. Thoughtful designs that move through your actual life-not some Instagram fantasy version of it. And they've shipped over 3 million orders since starting, which is pretty wild for a sister-run operation.
The company hit #14 on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America, with an 18,162% three-year growth rate. They're still majority women-led, promoting from within, and they've expanded way beyond dresses into sweaters, jumpsuits, swimwear, and outerwear. Everything's designed to be worn, loved, and lived in-not just photographed once and forgotten.
The brand operates entirely online from their Utah headquarters. No physical storefronts, which keeps costs down but means you can't try before you buy. They ship internationally with duties and taxes calculated at checkout for most countries.
Notice how they've built this whole thing around community? Customer photos flood their social media (592K Instagram followers), showing real women in real lighting with real body types. It's refreshing, honestly. They're not selling you a lifestyle-they're selling you clothes that actually work when you're living your life.
