Returns

What is the return window?
The standard conventional warranty on the Bianchi frame is valid for 5 years from the frame's delivery date, provided that all the following conditions are met: The frame must be new (therefore it must not be used or second hand). Bianchi's warranty is primarily handled through authorized dealers rather than direct returns to the company.

Do I need a receipt to return an item?
In the event that, during the validity period of the Conventional Warranty, the frame requires repair due to an original defect, the buyer must immediately contact the Bianchi Retailer where the frame was purchased, bringing with them the proof of purchase and confirmation of registration of the purchased Bianchi product. Yes, proof of purchase is mandatory for warranty service.

Who pays for return shipping?
Within the limits allowed by law, the shipping costs will be borne by the applicant for the warranty service and will be reimbursed by Bianchi only upon specific request and subject to documentation proving the amount paid, provided that the operation of this Conventional Warranty has been recognised. The customer initially pays shipping costs, which may be reimbursed if the warranty claim is approved.

How do I start a return online?
The buyer must contact the Bianchi Retailer where the frame was purchased and/or assembled. The intervention under the Conventional Warranty may be carried out exclusively through the Retailer where the frame was purchased and/or assembled. Returns and warranty claims must be initiated through the authorized dealer where the bicycle was purchased, not directly with Bianchi.

Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Bianchi-when you're talking about bicycle companies, you're basically talking about the granddaddy of them all. Founded in 1885, Bianchi is the world's oldest bicycle manufacturing company still in existence, which means they've been at this longer than pretty much anyone else. That's not just marketing speak. That's 140 years of actual history.

And you know what's kind of wild? Edoardo Bianchi started this whole thing when he was just 21 years old, working out of a small shop at 7 Via Nirone in Milan. The guy was basically making medical instruments and then decided, hey, why not revolutionize bicycles? They pioneered the use of equal-sized wheels with pneumatic rubber tires-stuff we totally take for granted now but was groundbreaking back then.

But what really sets Bianchi apart isn't just the history. It's that iconic Celeste color. You've probably seen it-that distinctive pale blue-green that's instantly recognizable. It's become so synonymous with the brand that serious cyclists can spot a Bianchi from a mile away. The company has this whole Italian artisan vibe going on, and they're not shy about it. Their positioning embodies the best of what Italy can offer to the world: a commitment to build products as artisans - "a regola d'arte", distinguishing design, style and taste.

Notice how they've managed to stay relevant across three different centuries? That's not easy. The company was founded in Italy in 1885 and in addition to bicycles it produced motorcycles from 1897 to 1967. They even got into cars for a while. But they always came back to bikes, because that's where their heart is.

The racing pedigree is legit too. Throughout its modern era, Bianchi has been associated with Italian Giro d'Italia and Tour de France winners, Fausto Coppi, Marco Pantani and Felice Gimondi. These aren't just sponsored athletes-these are legends who helped shape cycling history while riding Bianchis.

Today, they make everything from high-end racing bikes to e-bikes to city cruisers. Their wide-range of products fans out gradually to meet the needs of the professional and the casual rider, one who loves nature or one who simply wants to move quickly through urban traffic. Whether you're dropping $10,000 on a carbon fiber racing machine or looking for something to commute on, they've got options.

And here's something interesting-in 2024, Bianchi opened a new factory in Treviglio, Italy, the result of urban renewal of the building on Via delle Battaglie which has housed Bianchi's headquarters for more than 50 years. They're bringing production back to Italy, which is a pretty bold move when most companies are going the other direction. That tells you something about their commitment to quality and heritage.

The company philosophy is pretty straightforward: Edoardo Bianchi said that the best way to test a product was to race it. That's how their Reparto Corse (Racing Department) was born, and they still use that approach today-pushing bikes to their limits in competition to make them better for everyone else.
