Returns

What is the return window?
Returns may be accepted up to 45 days after the original order date.

Are there any items that are non-returnable?
Returns can only be accepted on items that are unworn, unwashed and in original packaging. Exchanges are not typically possible since we print just the number of shirts sold during the original sale period.

Who pays for return shipping?
Return shipment fees are the responsibility of the returnee (unless it's our error).

What if I received a damaged or incorrect item?
Damaged/defective items can be exchanged (if a replacement is available) or fully refunded within 45 days of the original order date. Proof of damage by means of a clear photo must be sent via support. The damaged/defective item must be returned before a replacement or refund can be issued. Blipshift will provide a return shipping label for damaged/defective items to be returned.

How do I start a return online?
Should your order arrive and the t-shirt is defective, contact blipshift within 7 days of receipt of your order for a return authorization.

Editor's Take

Blip Shift isn't your typical t-shirt company-it's basically the Netflix of automotive apparel, except way cooler and with a lot more horsepower behind the designs. Since launching in 2012, they've worked with hundreds of passionate automotive artists to create over 1,300 limited-edition designs, and here's the kicker: new designs drop every single day, but only for a limited time.

Think of it like this-you know that feeling when you see the perfect car at a Cars & Coffee, snap a photo, but by the time you circle back it's gone? That's exactly how Blip Shift operates, except instead of missing out on admiring someone's pristine E30, you're missing out on owning a shirt that perfectly captures your automotive obsession.

The whole concept is crowdsourced, meaning fellow auto enthusiasts create the designs. So you're not getting some corporate designer's interpretation of what car culture looks like-you're getting authentic designs from people who actually know the difference between a blip shift and a money shift. Artists get $1 for every shirt sold, with a guaranteed minimum of $250, which is pretty sweet motivation for creating something genuinely awesome.

The business model is brilliant in its simplicity: new designs post daily, you've got 48 hours to decide, and then they're gone forever. Well, mostly forever. They do bring back a couple dozen of the most requested designs each year, usually with some kind of tweak, but don't count on it.

They've built a community of tens of thousands of loyal customers and over 100,000 social media followers, which makes sense when you consider they're essentially creating wearable inside jokes for car people. As co-founder Joe Oh puts it, "We are as much a content site as a retail site"-and honestly, scrolling through their archive of designs is like taking a masterclass in automotive culture references.

The whole operation feels refreshingly authentic in a world full of generic car merchandise. These aren't shirts you'll see at every Cars & Coffee-they're conversation starters that immediately identify you as someone who gets it.
