Are there any items that are non-returnable?
Shipping and delivery fees are not refundable. Engraved items and items noted as 'final sale' or 'not returnable' are not eligible for exchange or return. If the payment was split between a Bobbi Brown gift card and credit card, debit card, or bank-issued gift card, the credit is applied to the credit card, debit card, or bank issued gift card first. If a balance remains to be credited, it will be applied to the Bobbi Brown eGift Card.

Editor's Take

Here's the thing about Bobbi Brown Cosmetics-it basically rewrote the rulebook on what makeup could be. And not in some flashy, look-at-me kind of way, but in a way that felt like someone finally got it.

Back in 1991, when everyone was doing bright, bold, almost theatrical makeup, Bobbi Brown (the actual person, a makeup artist from Chicago) launched ten brown-toned lipsticks. That's it. Ten simple, wearable, natural-looking shades. The kind of thing that sounds almost boring until you realize nobody else was doing it. Women wanted to look like themselves, just better. Not like they were headed to a costume party.

The brand caught fire pretty much immediately. Those ten lipsticks sold out in a day at Bergdorf Goodman. Four years later, Estée Lauder bought the whole operation, and Bobbi Brown stayed on as Chief Creative Officer for over two decades. By 2012, the brand was pulling in about ten percent of Estée Lauder's total sales-which, if you know anything about Estée Lauder, is a massive number.

What makes Bobbi Brown different is this philosophy of enhancement over transformation. The products are designed to work with your natural coloring, not fight against it. Foundation that actually matches your undertones. Correctors that neutralize dark circles without looking cakey. Eyeshadows in shades that complement rather than compete. It's makeup for people who want to look polished but not painted.

The brand's now sold in more than 60 countries, with products ranging from their cult-favorite Vitamin Enriched Face Base (a primer-moisturizer hybrid that makeup artists swear by) to the Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick that actually stays put for eight hours. They've expanded way beyond those original lipsticks into full skincare, tools, and pretty much everything you'd need for a complete routine.

And here's something kind of interesting-while Bobbi Brown herself left the company in 2016 and launched a new brand called Jones Road in 2020, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics keeps going strong under Estée Lauder. The philosophy she built into the brand from day one-that natural, confident beauty thing-still drives everything they do. It's become bigger than any one person, which is probably the ultimate compliment to what she created.
