In This Newsletter: Hatch Green Chili Powder, Tasting Notes, Sourcing, Use Recommendations | | Fruity, smoky and playfully spicy, our brand-new Hatch Green Chili Powder is already a fan-fave among our Spice Clubbers. Grown in Arrey of Hatch Valley, New Mexico, this world-famous chili’s rich, creamy and fire-roasted flavors are the result of intense sun and volcanic soil. It’s got a fresh, soft peppery heat that builds as you eat, perfect in classic Southwestern dishes like chili con carne, enchiladas, and burritos. Or, as Susan on our team says, “The Hatch Chili Powder is insanely good just sprinkled on eggs!”
| | Stacey on our Spice Forum shared: “I the Hatch Green Chili! Mac n cheese, beans, lentils and burritos. The Hatch Green Chili takes anything to the next level and imo has an almost smooth buttery taste.” Becky is a big fan of Carolyn’s Hatch Mac & Cheese recipe: “Oh. Em. Gee. The Hatch Mac and Cheese!!!!!! It is so good that I have no words to describe how good it is…..I barely even noticed the pork tenderloin that marinated all day in garlic, oil, fresh herbs and Tutto Porchetta and was roasted to perfection.” (Thanks for the delicious photo, Becky!) | | Sourcing this prized chili has taken us three years, and we’re delighted it’s got such a dedicated following already. Released as a part of our Spice Club this month, our customer Leslie “loved it…and immediately bought another bottle.” Hatch harvest is seasonal every year, so once this harvest is sold out, we’ll have to wait until 2026 for our next restock! | | | | |
