First introduced as an exclusive spice in our February Spice Club, we currently have just 250 jars left! | | Folks on our sourcing team were smitten at first taste when sampling these Gochugaru Chili Flakes. Ops & sourcing manager Bayley reported, “The color is gorgeous and I like the flake size. Reminds me of Silk Chili, but hotter!” Product development manager Radhika noted the layers of flavor: “Bright, fresh, juicy, plump, shimmery…Roasted red pepper, mild-medium slow burn, a hint of coriander florality.” | | Grown on small farms in Andong, South Korea, this is the highest grade of vine-ripened gochugaru. Selected for their robust color and shine, they're dried and roasted for the ultimate balance of fruity pepper flavors and savory umami-packed spice.
