Our limited-edition small-batch salami collab is back! Made with our NY-based friends at Charlito’s Cocina, Chorizo Seco is a rich & smoky slow-cured salami, made with heritage-breed, sustainably raised, 100% vegetarian-fed pork. It features our Smoked Pimentón Paprika with a kiss of garlic, hand-harvested sea salt and a touch of cane sugar for balance.
After air-curing for three months, the result is a concentration of rich flavors: natural sweetness of high-quality pork complemented by the wood-fire tones of pimentón and savory garlic. It’ll go fast: we sold out quickly in February and there's only 130 chorizos in stock this time around!
To enjoy Chorizo Seco straight out of the package, we love it as an anytime snack, a salad topping, or on a flavor-charged charcuterie board. Slice and pair with Smoked Woodland Honey and creamy Paprikash Mustard, then fill out the board with Saffron-Spiced Almonds, dried fruits, cheese, jam and a sliced baguette.
For extra-delicious meals, use Chorizo Seco as a flavor base when you cook. Start by dicing up an onion, some garlic cloves and your chorizo. Add these three ingredients to a heated skillet with a sprinkle of salt as a flavorful base for anything from slow-cooked beans to quick veggie & tofu stir-fries. This golden onion & chorizo mixture is also super tasty folded inside an omelette.
