Maybe you've burned before, or perhaps you are just starting to plug into this ever-expanding culture... Around you exist hubs of Radical Self-expression and connective creativity. Start here, with the Regional Directory. Connect, participate, and bring your ideas (however grand or small) to life. Big news β proposals to build the 2026 Black Rock City Temple are now open. If you were at That Thing in the Desert, be sure to fill out the Post-event Survey, the Black Rock City Census, and the Neighborhood Feedback Form. Proposals for the 2026 Black Rock City Temple Open October 1 Burning Man Arts is thrilled to announce proposals for the 2026 Temple Grant Program will open October 1 β now with an easier submission process. While the community continues to reflect on the powerful experience of Temple of the Deep from Tomorrow Today, it's already time to look ahead to next year so artists have as much time as possible to create a spiritual home in Black Rock City. The Temple is a critical part of the city, event, and culture; it serves as a communal space for contemplation, celebration and remembrance. After it is released, participants go out into the world with a renewed sense of clarity and perspective they can share with their larger communities. If youβre interested in applying, please plan to join a virtual Q&A session with Burning Man Art Department staff and key Temple stakeholders on Wednesday, October 1 from 10am to 11:30am PT. RSVP here to attend the Q&A where you can ask anything and learn how to submit a strong proposal. Temple proposals are due by October 31, 2025. Here are THREE important surveys that pretty please require your attention. First up, please take 10 to 15 fun-filled minutes to share your experience in the BRC 2025 Post-event Survey. We read every response and share what we learn with the teams that help make Black Rock City and Burning Man happen. Next, tell us about yourself β who you are, where youβre from, how you travel to BRC, and other important details β by filling out the Black Rock City Census. For more than 20 years, volunteer demographers and data scientists have gathered these data annually to craft an understanding of the humans who create Black Rock City. Finally, weβd love to hear feedback about your neighborhood and neighbors in Black Rock City! Want to give kudos to any camps that shined? Were there camps you think could use more support and acculturation? Got suggestions on how to improve the layout of future neighborhoods? Open to all participants, this is your chance to tell us all about it. BRC Neighborhood Feedback Form Art: "GUMA" by Harper Clark, 2025 (Photo by Espressobuzz) Lost Something in Black Rock City? Search Lost & Found. Something missing? Be sure to check the Lost & Found database and ePlaya. Black Rock Cityβs intrepid Lost & Found team is currently dealing with a veritable truckload of phones, backpacks, and other lost items. (The process of transporting, organizing items, and updating the database took a few weeks). Coats were recently added. For those who do find their item and submit a claim, be patient. Please wait for the Lost & Found team to contact you to say that your item is ready for pickup or shipment. Multiple claims for the same items just slow down the process. We stop taking new claims on October 31. Lost & Found does not have your bike or ebike.
