There is no central stage in Black Rock City and at Regional Events; participants create their own opportunities for Radical Self-expression, everywhere. What results is a captivating cocktail of people coming together to share their talents, experiment, and dance for hours beneath the vast desert sky. On July 20, 2019, Burning Man Project published the 2030 Environmental Sustainability Roadmap and committed to three goals: 1) Handle Waste Ecologically, 2) Be Regenerative, and 3) Be Carbon Negative β all by 2030. Burners are not just imagining a better future; we're prototyping it, scaling it, and inviting everyone to co-create the systems and culture needed to reach these goals. Now, six years in and halfway to 2030, sustainability work is in a transition between experimentation and scale. This call is a chance to align, accelerate, and build the next phase β together.
