Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Cadence-they've basically solved one of those problems you didn't even realize was driving you crazy until someone fixed it. These magnetic travel containers are designed to bring you calm and control by maintaining your routines, and honestly? That's not just marketing speak.

Founder Steph Hon wanted a functional, sustainable, and beautiful way to move her necessities from one sphere of her life to the next, so she crafted it… over 200 times. For three years, Hon and her team prototyped and re-prototyped a simple, safe, and sleek solution until today's Cadence capsule was born. And you can tell-these aren't your typical travel bottles.

The sustainability angle is pretty impressive too. Each Capsule is made from recycled material - a unique blend of ocean-bound plastic and material scraps. Cadence works with Envision Plastics to employ local communities who breathe new life into plastic waste. These rescued plastics are then sent to Bozeman, Montana, where they're processed into beautifully-designed, edge-free capsules.

But here's what really gets people hooked: they're stackable and magnetic for satisfying packing and carrying. There's something weirdly addictive about how they click together. Both the original Capsule and Capsule Flex System are well within TSA's 3.4 fl oz limit for carry-ons, which means you can actually travel with your real skincare routine instead of those tiny hotel bottles.

Forbes, The New York Times, and Gear Junkie agree that they're worth the hype. And they kind of are-once you start using them, regular travel bottles feel barbaric. The magnetic system means no more digging through toiletry bags, and the leak-proof design actually works (which, let's be honest, is rarer than it should be).

The price point isn't exactly budget-friendly, but it's one of those products you don't realize you need until you find it… and then there's no way you can live without it. Plus, they're constantly sold out, so clearly people are willing to pay for good design that actually solves problems.
