Dear Friends,
You know that feeling. The lights go down, the music starts, and for a few hours nothing else exists.
That's what The Center for the Arts is. It’s not just a venue, but a gathering place. A room full of neighbors, all present for the same moment. In a time when it's easy to stay in the comfort of your own home, rather than venturing out, that's rarer and more valuable than ever.
This spring, we're inviting you to help keep it alive.
This year, every membership carries extra weight. In memory of her husband Phil Ruble, a devoted champion of the arts in Nevada County, Mimi Simmons has made a generous $10,000 gift — meaning every membership dollar goes twice as far.
It's Phil's legacy showing up for the arts, and an invitation for all of us to do the same.
Last year: 58 shows. 19,883 tickets. 17 sold-out nights.
All of it right here on Main Street in Grass Valley, and none of it happens without the support of our wonderful members.
Membership starts at $120 per year with flexible monthly payment options, and it comes with real perks:
* Early access to tickets before they sell out
* Flexible ticket exchange (up to 48 hours in advance with no fee!)
* Member discounts all season long
BONUS: Become a member during the month of May to be entered into weekly prize drawings for ticket packages, local goods, and a grand prize Night on the Town including a nights stay at Courtyard Suites, a $100 Gift Certificate to Cirino’s and two tickets to see the 10,000 Maniacs on July 27!
Don’t miss the good seats and the good community here at the Center!
We hope you’ll join us!
