Two Runner is coming home, and we can’t wait!
Long before Two Runner was sharing stages with Sierra Ferrell, Watchhouse, and Molly Tuttle, Paige Anderson was a kid from these very foothills, touring the country with Anderson Family Bluegrass. Plenty of you watched her grow up on local stages. On November 21, she comes home. This time as the frontwoman of one of the most talked-about young bands in American roots music.
And the timing couldn't be better - On August 28, Two Runner will release their new full-length “Porchlight” on Gar Hole Records - the tastemaker label co-founded by Nick Shoulders that's become a home for the most authentic voices in country and folk.
LISTEN TO “STRAWBERRY RHINESTONE” FROM THE NEW ALBUM HERE.
Expect the new songs live, alongside the clawhammer banjo, old-time fiddle, and aching harmonies that earned them features on GemsOnVHS and Western AF and sent critics reaching for superlatives. Holler called their music the kind of wistful, bluegrassy folk that finds its way into your soul.
Paige pulls spare parts from bluegrass, old time, and folk and builds them into something all her own- hard-driving, heartfelt, and honest. In our intimate theater, with a hometown crowd, this is going to be a special night.
