Returns
What is the return window?
With your receipt (packing slip/invoice), items with original tags attached and in new, unworn condition may be returned within 30 days of a shipped item's delivery date. For in-store purchases, the same 30-day window applies from the date of purchase.
Do I need a receipt to return an item?
Without your packing slip/invoice, we will offer an exchange or store credit at the current selling price. If you do not have your original receipt, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-758-CATO (2286).
Are there any items that are non-returnable?
Washed or worn merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective. Items must be returned in unworn, unwashed condition with price tickets attached.
How will I receive my refund?
Refunds in the same form of original payment will be issued within 30 days of receiving the returned order/item(s) at our fulfillment center. If a Cato gift card was used for purchase, a new gift card will be issued.
Can I return online purchases in-store?
We will gladly accept returns of online purchases from catofashions.com or you may return online purchases at any one of our Cato store locations. Please bring your catofashions.com packing slip/invoice to the store when returning or exchanging an item.
