ONE MORE SLEEP UNTIL SOCCER CELEBRATION |
Tomorrow, Recess officially becomes Chicago’s home for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, with every match airing live, sound on, across more than 20 indoor screens and our massive 360‑degree outdoor jumbotron. The tournament kicks off tomorrow, starting with Mexico vs. South Africa at 2PM, followed by Korea vs. Czechia at 9PM — and that’s just the beginning of 39 days of nonstop soccer, culture and community. We’re celebrating night one with the Kickoff Party, setting the tone for the entire tournament. Expect a packed house, food and drink specials and an electric atmosphere featuring DJ Step and the release of his 'Step in the Game' mixtape. If reservations are sold out for any match, standing-room space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for every game. We encourage you to show up early to increase the likelihood of entry. There are still group reservations available for your parties of 11+! | |
