Chloé jobs
The Maison Chloé was founded in 1952 to give a new impulse to women and the world of fashion, through creations that bring elegance and freedom of movement to those who wear them. From the very beginning, Gaby Aghion worked with women and men to give them their first experience, seeing in each of them a talent and developing it. Since then, we have continued this approach by recruiting talent from all backgrounds, encouraging employment that is inclusive and respectful of diversity.

Editor's Take
So here's the thing about Chloé - it's basically the brand that invented the whole concept of luxury ready-to-wear back in 1952, which is kind of a big deal when you think about it. Before Gaby Aghion (an Egyptian-born Parisian) founded the house, if you wanted high-end fashion, you were stuck waiting months for custom haute couture pieces. She looked at that system and said, essentially, "This is ridiculous," and created something entirely new.
What makes Chloé fascinating is how it's been this incredible launching pad for some of fashion's biggest names. Karl Lagerfeld got his start there in 1966, and the brand basically turned him into a superstar. Then you had Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo, Clare Waight Keller - all these designers who went on to become household names cut their teeth at Chloé. It's like the fashion equivalent of a legendary music studio where everyone records their breakthrough album.
The brand's aesthetic has always leaned into this effortless, bohemian femininity thing. Think flowing silhouettes, romantic details, that distinctly Parisian je ne sais quoi that somehow manages to feel both timeless and completely current. Under current creative director Chemena Kamali (who took over in 2023), there's been this beautiful revival of the brand's 1970s roots - lots of boho-chic vibes, fluid dresses, and that free-spirited energy that made Chloé iconic in the first place.
And let's talk about the bags for a second. The Paddington bag from 2005? That thing sold 8,000 units before it even hit stores. It was one of the first true "It" bags, complete with that signature padlock hardware. Then came the Marcie with its wrapped handles inspired by vintage tennis rackets, the Drew, the Faye - each one becoming an instant classic. A single Marcie bag requires 4 hours of assembly and 88 hand-cut leather pieces, all crafted in their Milan ateliers.
But here's what's really interesting about Chloé now: in 2021, they became a certified B Corporation, which is pretty rare for a luxury fashion house owned by Richemont Group. They're genuinely trying to shift toward a purpose-driven model with their "Women Forward. For a Fairer Future" mission. They partner with UNICEF on girls' education programs and have raised over 2 million euros for gender equality initiatives.
The brand has boutiques scattered across the globe - from New York to Tokyo to Dubai - but their headquarters remain at 5 avenue Percier in Paris's 8th arrondissement. In 2017, they opened Maison Chloé at 28 Rue de La Baume, this multifunctional cultural space that houses their archives and showrooms, basically turning their history into something you can actually experience.
What's kind of remarkable is how Chloé has maintained this consistent identity across seven decades while constantly evolving. It's still about that same vision Gaby Aghion had - liberating women from stiff, formal fashion and giving them something that feels natural, confident, and effortlessly chic. Just with a modern sustainability twist and a whole lot more global reach.
