Brent Burns – 1,500 Games Played

Brent Burns reached his 1,500th NHL game on Saturday, October 11, as the Avs faced the Dallas Stars. Known for his durability and drive, he ranks fourth all-time for the most consecutive games played. The milestone highlights his consistency and passion for the game. We’ll celebrate Burns in a pregame ceremony as the Avs take on the Hurricanes on October 23.

Girls Hockey Night

Come out on Saturday, October 18 at 7:00 PM as the Avalanche takes on the Boston Bruins during Girls Hockey Night, presented by IMA Financial Group. Honoring the passion, skill, and leadership that continues to grow the game we all love.

Continuing a Tradition of Giving

The Avalanche Hat Trick tradition returns this season, celebrating every three-goal performance with a give-back moment. Whenever an Avs Hat Trick is scored, Kroenke Sports Charities will donate the hats tossed onto the ice, along with 500 new Avalanche hats, to the Denver Rescue Mission to support those in need.

Learn to Skate at Girls Hockey Night

Do you have a daughter interested in trying hockey? Join us on Girls Hockey Night for a special pregame clinic designed for girls ages 4 to 12 who are new to skating and looking to build a foundation before learning to play. Each registration includes a required ticket to that night’s Avalanche game against the Boston Bruins, so you can stay and cheer on the team! No prior skating experience required.

Discover the Fun of Hockey

Try Hockey for Free gives kids the chance to learn the basics at no cost. No experience is needed, and limited equipment will be available to borrow. Avalanche Youth Hockey staff will be on the ice to help. Join the Co-Ed session on October 19 from 6:15 – 7:15 PM and see why hockey is one of the most exciting sports to play!
