The 8 patterns in the April 2025 issue of Crochet Foundry Magazine feel as variable as the weather right now. They were made for transitional weather and offer the options to work with whatever the day has in store. Think tops and wraps that can be buttoned, laced, and styled several ways, and lots of convertible silhouette (dresses into tops, tops into swimsuit cover ups, etc.) In addition, the April issue includes:
- An inside look at Mochimochi Land
- Tips for working with semi-synthetic yarns
- Part 2 of 3 in the Your Signature Style series
- Color planning sketches for each featured pattern
- Crochet Puzzles and Games
- and more!
Joy in Miniature
Mochimochi Land has become ubiquitous in the crafting community. Anna Hrachovec's adorable crochet creations have drawn more crafters to the crochet fold via bite-sized, beginner-friendly projects that the community can't get enough of.
We were so excited to run into Anna at VK Live this year and delighted that she agreed to talk to us about how Mochimochi Land came to be.
Signature Style Part 2
The April 2025 issue continues with part 2 of a 3-part series on Signature Style.
The second part of learning your Signature Style hones in on the importance of color. Learn how to discover your signature color palette and access the tools we love to use that will help guide that discovery.
Tips for Semi-Synthetic Yarns
How much do you know about semi-synthetic yarns? We're not talking about acrylics; we're talking about outliers like rayon, viscose, and modal that you may see blended with other, more recognizable fibers.
You may not be overly familiar with semi-synthetics, but you definitely know them by feel. Silky-soft and often very smooth, semi-synthetics offer luxurious drape and can be a joy to crochet with.
Color Planning Sketches
Color planning sketches return in the April 2025 issue to guide your color choices! Unlike the picture above, the sketches are completely blank and waiting to be colored in by you!
