Ooops! Missed That
After many of you requested our sit & stitches get rearranged so they are in the morning or afternoon every other week, and in the evenings every other week (as opposed to having each time next to each other), that change was made.
I mentioned it last week, and gave you the links for the rest of this month, but I forgot to change it on the Event Calendar. I'm so sorry about that. I just fixed the Event Calendar, so you will see all the correct times through the end of this year.
Tonight's Sit & Stitch is on Zoom from 6-8 pm eastern time. I hope to see a lot of you there!
Last Week At Home
I've had this book for a bit now and finally got around to reviewing it for you. The socks are stunning and the photos are works of art. Really, they are calendar worthy!
Only if they made a calendar, they'd have to cut out some of the 20 patterns, and that would be a sin. Every last pattern in this wonderful book is worth making. Kni them all and your sensational stems will be the talk of the town.
Rhinebeck!!
Forget the Sweater, I'm Crocheting a Skirt
There's the whole tradition of knitting a Rhinebeck sweater. Well, this year I will be attending the New York State Sheep & Wool Festival (AKA Rhinebeck) wearing a new crochet skirt. I plan on finishing it at the sit & stitch tonight.
Of course, I'll be there for 2 days, so maybe I'll wear the sweater from the cover of the February 2025 issue of Crochet Foundry for the second day.
