I've been super tired way to often lately. Maybe it's that I just turned 50, maybe it's my meds, maybe it's a vitamin deficiency...
I had a physical this morning and talked to my doctor about it. She's running a few more blood tests to see if we can find a reason. In the meantime, coffee is my friend.
So, my non-drinkable friends, what do you craft to help combat tiredness when you really shouldn't be sleeping?
I will sometimes take a break from whatever I'm crafting and do some cleaning, but crafting is so much more fun!
Sometimes I'll take a bit and get everything ready for a craft I have planned - walk around my studio and collect all the supplies I need and safely tuck them into a cubby so they're ready for me.
Sometimes I'll work on a sewing project or another large project that requires me to stand at my work table.
Sometimes I'll just put on some 80's or 90's tunes and sing and dance.
And sometimes I give in and take a nap.
LATEST BLOG UPDAT 2 Double Crochet Cluster! If you're reading this on Tuesday evening 7/7/26, you may need to wait until later or until Wednesday morning to see, because I still have a little bit to finish up as I write this, but I am finally (almost) ready to hit "update" on the first of my tutorials that I'm updating. I should have the whole group of them done by this time next week, as I've been doing each step in batches. |

IN THE STUDIO:
A sneak peek at sketches to become paintings
Keep an eye out for new art from me!
I'm really loving the way my large sketches of crochet stitches are coming out. I have some fun ideas for art pieces to make from them. Some will be turned into prints or wall art that can be purchased from my Dashery store, and some of the originals may be for sale in my Etsy store. Beyond that, we'll see what happens. :)
