Delta will launch its first-ever daily nonstop service to Porto, Portugal (OPO) from New York-JFK beginning May 21, 2026, giving customers direct access to one of Europe’s most colorful coastal cities. The new route is part of Delta’s broader trans-Atlantic expansion and reflects the airline’s commitment to offering more destinations, more flights and more elevated experiences than ever before.
Following the premiere at Atlanta’s iconic Fox Theatre, Delta’s Centennial film, “A Century of Flight,” is now available to watch online. It tells the story of Delta’s 100-year climb and how the airline rose from humble beginnings as a crop-dusting company to a leader in global aviation, overcoming countless challenges along the way. The story is told by employees at every level of the company, including past and present Delta CEOs Ed Bastian, Gerald “Jerry” Grinstein and Richard Anderson.
