The consensus earnings estimate was $1.58 per share on revenue of $177.96 billion. The Earnings Whisper number was $1.74 per share. The company beat expectations by 12.07% while revenue grew 13.40% on a year-over-year basis.
The company said it expects fourth quarter revenue of $206.0 billion to $213.0 billion. The current consensus revenue estimate is $208.15 billion for the quarter ending December 31, 2025.
“We continue to see strong momentum and growth across Amazon as AI drives meaningful improvements in every corner of our business,” said Andy Jassy, President and CEO, Amazon. “AWS is growing at a pace we haven’t seen since 2022, re-accelerating to 20.2% YoY.
