These bulbs are not as described in last weeks booklet, They are NOT LED, but old tech CFL bulbs, I will be returning mine (I wondered why there were still some left today)

Don't get caught.
Like other reviewers here I bought 6 of the 'Low Energy LED Bulbs' as advertised in the Aldi weekly flyer. On getting them home and plugging one in I was evident that these are NOT Led bulbs but low energy fluorescent bulbs, the exact same as I intended to replace. Not good Aldi!!

THESE BULBS WERE ADVERTISED AS BEING LED LOW ENERGY BULBS,THEY ARE NOT THEY ARE THE OLD TYPE LOW ENERGY BULBS THAT TAKE ABOUT TWO MINUTES TO GET TO FULL POWER,I CAN BUY THIS TYPE FOR 50p EACH

They are NOT LED bulbs
The description on the Aldi website says I should "save money on your electricity bill by switching all your light bulbs to LED" That's true, but these bulbs AREN'T LED. They are merely (very slow starting) CFL bulbs inside a glass envelope.
