Girls Play Too Hardback Book

Where did the idea and inspiration for the book originate?"I had been thinking about doing a book like this for a while. I really wanted to do something tangible as part of my pledge to do help with the 20x20 campaign and I felt a book for young girls might be nice. A trip to the zoo with my son and his friends really cemented the idea, when I overheard my son and his friend Evanna having a minor disagreement about who was better - boys or girls. When I heard Evanna agreeing with my son Luke and saying that yes boys are better because their matches are shown on tv, I knew I needed to do something!Firstly, I had to tell Evanna that girls matches are on the tv and secondly, I knew I needed to get this book onto shelves to show kids that girls play too!
