Fifteen egg pendants adorn this early 20th century necklace, carrying a symbolic message. Each year, before Easter, a girl would receive a small egg pendant, added to a chain to symbolise her growth and becoming.
Easter has always held a special place in the Maison’s history, intrinsically linked to the legendary Imperial Easter Eggs commissioned by Tsars Alexander III and Nicholas II between 1885 and 1916. A religious symbol of rebirth, the egg remains a powerful expression of renewal at springtime.
