Editor's Take

First Aid Beauty isn't just another skincare brand throwing around buzzwords-it's basically the friend who actually knows what they're talking about when your skin freaks out. Founded back in 2009, FAB (as the cool kids call it) built its reputation on one simple premise: sensitive skin shouldn't have to suffer through harsh formulas just to get results.

What makes them different? Well, they're obsessed with clean ingredients and dermatologist-tested formulas. Not the kind of "clean" that's just marketing speak, but genuinely gentle stuff that won't make your face angry. Their Ultra Repair Cream became a cult favorite for good reason-it's one of those rare products that actually delivers on its promises without breaking the bank.

The brand really hit its stride when TikTok discovered them. Remember that viral moment with their KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub? That wasn't paid promotion-just real people sharing what actually worked. The scrub ended up having its best sales week ever after one influencer's video got 35 million views. That's the kind of organic buzz you can't buy.

But here's what's really smart about First Aid Beauty: they don't try to be everything to everyone. They focus on problem-solving formulas for common skin issues-dryness, bumps, irritation, the usual suspects. Their Facial Radiance Pads with glycolic and lactic acids are another standout, giving you that gentle exfoliation without the drama.

The company's owned by Procter & Gamble now, which means they've got serious backing but haven't lost that scrappy, solution-focused vibe. They're cruelty-free, PETA-certified, and keep over 1,300 potentially harmful ingredients out of their formulas. Plus, they actually listen to their customers-when people said they wanted a sonic identity for TikTok, FAB literally created a song called "TikTok Made Me Buy It."

Their approach to social media is refreshingly authentic too. Instead of perfect Instagram flatlays, they lean into real skin stories and user-generated content. It's skincare for people who want results, not just pretty packaging.
