Returns

What is the return window?
We accept returns and exchanges on unworn or unused items purchased on fordays.com in their original condition within 14 days of receipt as long as the item is eligible and unworn with the tags attached.

Do I need a receipt to return an item?
Please email [email protected] to initiate any return or exchange. While a receipt isn't explicitly mentioned as required, contacting customer service suggests they can process returns through their system.

Are there any items that are non-returnable?
Not all products on their site are eligible for returns or exchanges such as underwear and swimsuits. Take Back Bags, gift cards, or items marked final sale are not eligible for returns, exchanges or price adjustments.

How will I receive my refund?
Once your return has been scanned and confirmed, we will either process your refund to your original payment method, initiate your exchange, or issue your store credit as requested. Please give us 30 days from sending your return back to receive your refund.

How do I start a return online?
Please email [email protected] to initiate any return or exchange. They will always take items bought on fordays.com back for recycling regardless of whether or not it is eligible for a return or exchange.

Editor's Take

For Days isn't just another clothing brand-it's basically fashion's answer to the circular economy, and honestly, it's about time someone figured this out. The company is on a mission to end clothing waste and change the fashion industry, making organic, non-toxic, and 100% recyclable basics.

Here's what makes them different: through their take back program, they recycle used items from any brand and keep them out of landfills to help people and the planet, using the Take Back Bag to make recycling your clothing easy and rewarding. So you're not just buying a t-shirt-you're participating in what they call a "circular revolution."

The Take Back Bag program is genuinely clever. You earn $50 in Closet Cash credit towards your next purchase for every Take Back Bag you order and register. They accept all textiles, including socks, underwear, sheets, pillow cases, towels, linens, shoes and handbags, even items that are ripped, torn or stained. It's like Marie Kondo meets environmental activism.

And the founders know what they're doing. CEO Kristy Caylor previously co-founded Maiyet, a pioneering luxury brand, and spent her early career growing businesses for Gap, Inc. including Banana Republic and Gap's Product (RED) division. She's a member of the CFDA and has worked with Cradle to Cradle's Fashion + and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation's Textile Initiative.

What's really interesting is their business model evolution. The For Days Take Back Bag is now powered by Trashie, though everything you love about the Take Back Bag stays exactly the same-they just gave it a fresh paint job. They're expecting much more rewards, deals & recycling when the Trashie rewards platform launches.
