Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Force of Nature-it's basically the cleaning world's answer to "why can't we have nice things?" You know how you're always stuck choosing between products that actually work and products that won't slowly poison your family? Yeah, Force of Nature said "nah" to that whole compromise.

The technology that makes Force of Nature work is called "electrolyzed water", and it uses electricity to change the molecular structure of salt and water into a multi-purpose cleaner and very unique antimicrobial called hypochlorous acid (HOCl). Sounds fancy, but it's surprisingly simple-you're literally making hospital-grade disinfectant from stuff you probably have in your kitchen right now.

And get this: it's a medical-grade disinfectant with EPA registration number 93040-1, and Force of Nature is on the EPA's List N, the disinfectants approved for use against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19. That's not marketing fluff-that's actual government certification that this thing kills 99.9% of germs.

But here's what really gets me. They specifically designed their all-in-1 cleaning, deodorizing, and disinfecting system to cost significantly less than traditional cleaning products, with their formula costing up to 80% less per oz than the top brands and eliminating all those single-use plastic bottles too. So you're not just getting a safer product-you're actually saving money while doing it.

The whole process takes about 9 minutes. You fill their little electrolyzer with water, squeeze in one of their pre-measured capsules (salt, water, and vinegar), hit a button, and boom-you've got a 12-ounce bottle of cleaner that lasts about two weeks. They launched Force of Nature in 2016 with the mission to end the compromise between cleaning and health - for people and the planet.

Notice how they're not trying to be everything to everyone-they just identified one massive problem (toxic cleaning products) and engineered their way around it. With their reusable bottles, they're Green Seal & Carbon Neutral certified, eliminating single-use plastic bottles and funding carbon offset projects.

The company's pretty transparent about their limitations too. They attempted to get Force of Nature evaluated & rated by EWG, but EWG stated that their "scoring system is not equipped to fully capture ingredients that would be generated as a result of electrolytic processes within the device. They currently do not have devices rated in the cleaning category." But honestly? When you're dealing with something this innovative, traditional rating systems might just be playing catch-up.
