Volunteer Requirements

  • All volunteers must be 16+ years old.
  • All volunteers must sign a release waiver online or at the check-in booth on the festival grounds.
  • All volunteers working in a beer or beverage booth, where alcohol is being served, must be 21+
  • Volunteers are NOT allowed to sell alcoholic beverages; this will be handled by the booth cashiers.
  • All volunteers must abide by the French Quarter Festivals, Inc. Volunteer Guidelines

French Quarter Festivals, Inc. (FQFI) annually produces three festivals: French Quarter Festival, Satchmo SummerFest, and Christmas New Orleans Style. FQFI is a 501©3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the Vieux Carré and the City of New Orleans through high quality special events and activities that showcase the culture and heritage of this unique city, contribute to the economic well being of the community, and instill increased pride in the people of New Orleans
