Returns
What is the return window?
If your plans change, your right to a refund is limited and subject to penalties and fees. Full payment of your entire vacation is due 45 days prior to departure. If you cancel your reservation and rebook within 7 days, Funjet Vacations brand penalties are waived.
Are there any items that are non-returnable?
Nonrefundable hotels incur penalties upon deposit, and many airfares and hotel reservations are nonrefundable and nontransferable, and you may be charged 100% cancellation/change penalties. Once travel has begun, there will be no refunds for any unused or partially used travel component for any reason.
How will I receive my refund?
If you decline Travel Protection Plus and cancel your booking, any amount due for air-inclusive vacations (after applicable penalties) will be in the form of a future travel credit. Travel credit refunds are generally processed one-two business days after cancellation and are valid for travel commencing within 395 days from original departure date.
How do I start a return online?
You must immediately notify your travel advisor to cancel or make changes to your vacation package. If you booked directly on the Funjet Vacations website or through the Funjet Vacations contact center, you may cancel your reservation online by retrieving your reservation, or call 1-888-558-6654.
Editor's Take
So here's the thing about Funjet Vacations-they've been doing this since 1974, which means they've basically perfected the art of getting people to paradise without the usual headaches. And honestly? That's kind of their whole vibe.
What makes them different is pretty straightforward. They bundle everything-flights, hotels, transfers, the works-into one package. But it's not just about convenience (though that's a big part of it). They offer exclusive nonstop vacation flights that are handpicked for travelers, with great prices and unbeatable service. Basically, they buy seats in bulk and pass the savings on to you. Smart, right?
The destinations are what you'd expect if you're dreaming of warm weather and a drink with an umbrella in it. Mexico, the Caribbean, Florida, Hawaii-all the places where you can actually forget about your inbox for a week. They've got over 900 destinations and work with 26,000 hotels, so you're not exactly limited in choices. Whether you want an adults-only resort in Punta Cana or a family-friendly spot in Cancun, they've got options.
Here's something most people don't realize: they offer 24/7 access to travel specialists before, during and after traveling. Not just when you're booking-actually during your trip. They have people on the ground at resorts who can help with activities, restaurant recommendations, or if something goes sideways. That's pretty rare in the vacation package world.
And then there's their Price Match Plus guarantee. If you find the same vacation package for less, they'll match it-plus you still get their top-notch customer care. So you're not gambling on whether you got a good deal.
The all-inclusive angle is where they really shine. Everything's covered-meals, drinks, activities, taxes, gratuities. No surprise charges when you're trying to order a second margarita by the pool. They've been in the game long enough to know that hidden fees are what ruin vacations, so they just... don't do that.
One more thing worth mentioning: their flexible payment options. They offer payment plans so you can book now and spread the cost over time. For a lot of people, that's the difference between "maybe next year" and "let's do this."
Bottom line? Funjet's been around for 50 years because they figured out what travelers actually want: simplicity, value, and someone to call when things don't go according to plan. Not revolutionary, just really, really well executed.
