What is the return window?
We have a 14-day return policy for single-vision glasses orders, a 30-day return policy for multifocal glasses orders and a 60-day return period for unopened contact lens orders. If you purchased glasses with multifocal (bifocal or progressive) lenses, you have 30 days to return your glasses, as we want to give extra time for your eyes to adjust to your new lenses.

Do I need a receipt to return an item?
You'll need your email address and order number (found in your order confirmation email).

Who pays for return shipping?
We'll be providing you with a pre-paid shipping label. Return shipping label will not be provided for international orders.

Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Glasses USA-they're basically what happens when someone finally decides to shake up the whole "buying glasses is expensive and annoying" situation. And honestly? They've kind of nailed it.

Founded in 2009, the company operates globally and offers a wide range of products from both its proprietary house brands and numerous well-known designer labels. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, GlassesUSA.com is a subsidiary of the Optimax Eyewear group, but don't let that corporate speak fool you-this is a company that gets it.

What really sets them apart is their approach to the whole online glasses thing. As of 2024, GlassesUSA.com offers over 9,000 different types of eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses, encompassing more than 90 brands. That's not just impressive-it's kind of overwhelming in the best way possible. You know how you used to have to settle for whatever your local shop had? Yeah, those days are over.

But here's where it gets interesting. On March 2024, GlassesUSA opened a new optical lab in Atlanta, Georgia, serving the entire US and Canada, offering next-day delivery service. Next-day delivery for prescription glasses? That's the kind of thing that would've sounded like science fiction just a few years ago.

The brand partnerships are pretty solid too. A notable five-year partnership with actress Hilary Duff resulted in the Muse x Hilary Duff collection, featuring 23 styles of prescription glasses and sunglasses inspired by influential women. Actress Marsai Martin curated a 28-style collection of prescription glasses and sunglasses for the company's "Four Eyes Are Better Than Two" campaign. NFL Super Bowl MVP Von Miller collaborated with GlassesUSA.com to create two exclusive eyewear collections. It's like they actually understand that glasses aren't just medical devices-they're fashion statements.

And speaking of understanding things, they were honored with the title of "America's Best Customer Service 2025" by Newsweek and Statista in the online retail category. That's not just marketing fluff-that's recognition from people who actually know what good service looks like.

The social responsibility angle is refreshing too. GlassesUSA.com operates a corporate social responsibility initiative called the "GlassesUSA.com Impact" program, which focuses on expanding access to vision care. The program includes partnerships with organizations such as the Miss America Organization and the National School Boards Association to provide prescription eyeglasses to children in need across the United States.

Look, buying glasses online used to be this weird leap of faith. But with their virtual try-on tech and return policies that actually make sense, it's become pretty much a no-brainer. They've figured out how to make something that was traditionally a pain in the neck into something that's actually... convenient.
