Returns

What is the return window?
If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with a product you receive from Global Test Supply (not including calibration certificates), you may return the regular stock product within 30 days from the time of receipt, for a full refund or exchange of the product you purchased (less any shipping costs).

Are there any items that are non-returnable?
Calibration certificates are not returnable. Returns for items not shown as being in stock at the time of purchase may be subject to restocking fees and in some rare cases could not be returnable, depending on the return policy.

Who pays for return shipping?
Products may be returned freight prepaid and must be in their original packaging and in resalable condition. This means the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

What if I received a damaged or incorrect item?
For shipping errors, Global Test Supply will ship you a new order with the correct item(s) as soon as possible. However, if the original/incorrect item(s) are not returned to them within two weeks, you will be charged for both orders. Once the item(s) are returned, they'll issue a credit back to you.

How will I receive my refund?
Items returned will be inspected for damage or misuse at which time they may be subject to restocking fees, other fees or refused, prior to the issuance of any credit.

Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Global Test Supply - they're kind of the unsung heroes of the test and measurement world. Founded in 2004, this isn't some fly-by-night operation. They've been quietly building a reputation among engineers, technicians, and lab professionals who need equipment that actually works when it matters.

What makes them interesting is the breadth. They offer over 85,000 different test and measurement instruments from over 300 brands. That's not a typo. We're talking everything from basic multimeters to sophisticated thermal imaging cameras, calibration equipment, and process control instruments. Think Fluke, AEMC, Testo - basically all the brands that serious professionals actually use.

But here's where it gets better. Unlike some online-only retailers that leave you hanging, Global Test Supply maintains physical locations in both North Carolina and California, plus they run accredited calibration labs. They can calibrate and test instruments at the point of sale while offering rental and repair services. So if you need a piece of equipment calibrated before it ships, they'll do it. Need to rent instead of buy? They've got you covered.

The company's been on a bit of a growth trajectory too. They made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies twice, which is pretty impressive for a B2B instrumentation distributor. And they've expanded beyond just test equipment - they now carry hand tools and safety equipment from brands like Klein, Ridgid, and Starrett.

What's really notable is their approach to customer service. They have in-house technical specialists who help customers choose equipment based on their specific needs, budget, and application. It's that old-school, consultative sales approach but delivered through a modern e-commerce platform. You can chat with someone who actually knows the difference between a clamp meter and a power quality analyzer.

The reviews tell an interesting story. On Trustpilot, they've got 839 reviews with a 4-star rating. Most customers rave about fast shipping and competitive pricing. One reviewer mentioned getting a Fluke meter within 3 days of ordering. But like any company, they're not perfect - some customers have mentioned communication hiccups on repairs.

Notice how they've positioned themselves? They're not trying to be Amazon. They're going after professionals who need reliable equipment, expert advice, and services like calibration that the big box retailers can't provide. It's a smart niche, especially since they've got over 30 years of experience in selling quality instrumentation (the company itself is from 2004, but the team's experience goes way back).

One more thing worth mentioning - they've got this Global Test Supply University program where they offer webinars and training courses. So you're not just buying equipment; you're getting education on how to use it properly. That's the kind of value-add that keeps customers coming back.
