2025 Open Short Story Competition Feedback Exchange

We’re excited to let you know that the first of two optional feedback exchanges for our 2025 Open Short Story Competition is now live in our members-only Facebook group!

If you’d like to receive feedback on your story and offer feedback to other writers in return, this is your chance to connect, exchange stories, and find ways to strengthen your work before the submission deadline.

Tickets for this year’s contest are still available, and with a prize pot of £5,000, it’s our biggest contest ever!

There will also be a second exchange starting on December 1st, so if you’re not quite ready to share your story yet, you’ll have another chance soon.

Of course, sharing your entry with other participants before the deadline isn’t for everyone, and that’s completely fine. But we’ve found that thoughtful peer feedback can be incredibly valuable, helping you refine your story and see it through your readers’ eyes.
