Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Golf Apparel Shop-it's basically the online outlet for Perry Ellis International's golf brands, which means you're getting legitimate pro-level gear without the country club markup. And that's kind of the whole point, right?

The site carries six major brands under one digital roof: PGA TOUR, Grand Slam, Original Penguin Golf, Callaway Tour Authentic, Ben Hogan, and Jack Nicklaus. That's a pretty solid lineup when you think about it. You've got everything from classic Jack Nicklaus polos that your dad would approve of to the slightly more adventurous Original Penguin stuff that won't make you look like you're cosplaying as a 1987 country club member.

What makes this place interesting is the sizing range. They actually stock big and tall options, which-let's be honest-a lot of golf apparel brands conveniently forget exist. It's one of those details that matters way more than people talk about. The site also does youth sizes and women's apparel, so it's genuinely trying to be a one-stop shop for the whole family.

The pricing strategy is aggressive. We're talking clearance sections with discounts up to 80% off, flash sales that pop up regularly, and a rewards program called Pro Shop Perks that's free to join. They'll throw in free shipping on orders over $99, which is pretty standard but still appreciated when you're loading up on polos and shorts for the season.

But here's where it gets practical: their return window is 30 days, and they'll accept stuff back as long as it's unworn and unwashed with tags attached. Nothing groundbreaking, but straightforward. If you use their prepaid return label, they'll deduct $6 from your refund, which is honestly pretty reasonable compared to some retailers who make you eat the full shipping cost both ways.

The customer service setup is modern-live chat during business hours (Monday-Friday 9am-7pm EST, weekends 8am-6pm EST), email support, and a help center. No phone number listed, which might annoy some people, but the chat feature is right there on every page.

One thing that stands out: this isn't some fly-by-night operation. Perry Ellis International has been around since 1967, and they're headquartered in Doral, Florida. They manufacture and license apparel for major brands, so the quality control is there. When you order from Golf Apparel Shop, you're essentially buying direct from the manufacturer's outlet, which explains both the selection and the pricing.

The site's pretty easy to navigate, too. You can shop by brand, by category, or just dive into the sale section and see what's marked down. And honestly? That's probably where most people should start, because the deals are legitimately good-we're talking $80 pants for $37, that kind of thing.
