🎆 Wishing you a safe and happy Independence Day! Please take note of the special transit schedules for Friday, July 4th, and surrounding days to help you plan your holiday travels.

🎇 Independence Day Holiday Service (Friday, July 4th):

• NYC Subways and Buses: Will operate on a Saturday schedule.

• Long Island Rail Road (LIRR): Will operate on a Saturday schedule.

• Metro-North Railroad: Will operate on a Sunday schedule.

Off-peak fares will be in effect all day for both LIRR and Metro-North.

🎇 Macy's Fireworks Show Service:

• Increased service will be provided on certain NYC Transit train lines to accommodate those attending the Macy's Fireworks Show.

🎇 Getaway Trains & Maintenance Suspensions:

• Thursday, July 3rd: Both LIRR and Metro-North will operate getaway trains to help you start your holiday weekend early.

• Bridge & Tunnel Maintenance: Scheduled daytime maintenance requiring full lane closures on bridges and tunnels will be suspended from Wednesday, July 2nd, at 1:00 PM, through Saturday, July 5th.
