Returns
What is the return window?
Selected items can be returned within 14 days from the date you received your order. All returned merchandise must be in NEW/ORIGINAL and resalable condition, this includes all packaging, accessories, tags and authenticity cards/dust bags. HBX will not accept any items that are not in this condition.
Are there any items that are non-returnable?
Final sale, Archive and made-to-order items cannot be returned or exchanged. If returning footwear, please make sure the shoebox is packed with an outer layer, as the shoebox is part of the product and HBX will not accept returned footwear with a damaged shoebox. If returning designer bags and accessories, all packaging such as authenticity cards, dust bags, tags and box must be included with the return.
How will I receive my refund?
Refund processing time may take up to 10 business days from the date HBX received your package. It may take additional days during promotional periods or holiday seasons. The original shipping fee and taxes/duties of your order will not be included in the refund amount.
Who pays for return shipping?
HBX covers the return shipping costs for orders shipping to Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea. Unfortunately, they currently don't cover the return shipping costs of other countries/cities. Return packages are the customer's responsibility until they are received by HBX, and it is recommended that you use registered and traceable services when returning your package as HBX will not be responsible for items that are damaged or lost in the return delivery process.
What if I received a damaged or incorrect item?
If the item you received is incorrect, missing, or defective, please contact HBX within 7 days from the date you received your order. Please include your order number, photographs of the item(s), and all related references upon receiving your package.
Editor's Take
So here's the thing about HBX-it's basically what happens when Hypebeast, that culture-defining streetwear blog you've probably scrolled through at 2 AM, decides to get into the retail game. And honestly? They nailed it.
Founded as an e-commerce platform, HBX now curates over 200 of the world's leading luxury, streetwear, and lifestyle brands. But it's not just another online store throwing Supreme hoodies and Yeezys at you. The curation here feels intentional, almost editorial-which makes sense given its Hypebeast DNA. You'll find everything from Acne Studios and Maison Margiela to Nike and Rick Owens, all sitting comfortably next to each other like they're at some impossibly cool dinner party.
What sets HBX apart is how it bridges that gap between accessible streetwear and high fashion without feeling pretentious. Notice how they've managed to make luxury feel approachable? Their Hong Kong flagship at Hysan Place spans 1,300 square feet with a minimalist design inspired by industrial aesthetics, featuring a modern palette of white and grey with sleek aluminum and stainless steel finishing. It's the kind of space where you can browse a $2,000 Bottega Veneta bag and a graphic tee without anyone batting an eye.
The platform ships to over 80 markets worldwide and operates in five languages, which is pretty wild when you think about it. They've also got this HBX Pro loyalty program that rewards repeat customers with Hypecoins-basically their own currency system. And if you're wondering about their archive section? That's where they sell rare luxury and streetwear pieces, including iconic pre-owned sneakers. It's like a curated vintage shop for hypebeasts.
Here's something interesting: they've got physical stores in Hong Kong and New York's Chinatown, designed by FOOD NEW YORK. The New York spot especially feels like a statement-opening in Chinatown rather than SoHo says something about where they think culture actually lives.
The brand's also smart about staying connected. They offer free shipping and easy returns, which removes that anxiety of buying expensive stuff online. And their editorial content? It's basically an extension of Hypebeast's journalism, so you're not just shopping-you're getting context, stories, and cultural commentary.
What's kind of fascinating is how HBX has become this bridge between East and West in fashion retail. They understand both markets intimately and stock brands that resonate across cultures. Whether you're in Tokyo, London, or Los Angeles, the selection feels relevant.
