Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Heyday-they've basically taken everything annoying about getting a facial and thrown it out the window. You know how spa facials usually require you to block out half your Saturday, whisper like you're in a library, and pretend to enjoy cucumber water? Yeah, Heyday said "nope" to all that.

With over 1 million facials and 10 years of experience under their belt, their Licensed Estheticians deliver results backed by serious know-how and 100+ hours of advanced Heyday training. But here's what makes them different-with 125+ possible facial formula combinations, your facial evolves as your skin does. It's like having a skincare therapist who actually remembers what worked last time.

The whole concept is refreshingly straightforward. A 50 minute facial that acts like a lunch break but feels like a vacation. They've stripped away the pretentious spa atmosphere and created something that feels more like visiting a really knowledgeable friend who happens to be amazing at skincare. No spa robes, no pretense, no shh'ing.

And they're not just about the immediate glow (though you'll definitely get that). Your facial doesn't end when you leave. We equip you with a personal at-home routine, and next month, we'll continue to progress towards your skin goals together. It's this ongoing relationship approach that sets them apart from the typical one-and-done spa experience.

What really caught my attention is how they've scaled this personal touch. We have facial shops across the country. Yet somehow they've maintained that boutique feel where "the estheticians are warm and really committed to educating clients about their skin." That's not easy to pull off when you're expanding rapidly.

The membership model makes sense too-$114/Month and is designed to support your skin's monthly renewal cycle with a personalized monthly facial, 50% off enhancements, and exclusive discounts on products. Facials are usually priced between $135 - $145, but as a member, you get a monthly facial included and additional facials at $85. It's basically skincare subscription services, but for your face.

They've been named "Best Facial" by New York Magazine and Cosmopolitan, which is nice validation, but honestly, the real test is whether people keep coming back. And based on their growth and the fact that they've performed over 500,000 facials, it seems like they're doing something right.
