Returns
What is the return window?
HSN offers a 30-day return window for most items, providing ample time for customers to return purchases. Specific items like electronics and beauty products have different return periods, usually 30 days.
How will I receive my refund?
Once the item has been received at the return center, allow up to 72 hours from the item being received for your refund to be processed. You can view your Order Status to determine if the refund has been issued. The company will issue refunds to the original payment methods after deducting the shipping costs. If you return a gift, you will be refunded in the form of HSN store credit.
Who pays for return shipping?
For exchanges, HSN provides a return label and pays for return shipping-customers ship their item back within 30 days of receipt using the HSN return label. For regular returns, customers can use HSN's Easy Return Label or a standard return label with a shipping carrier of their choice.
How do I start a return online?
Locate the available return method(s) listed on the packing slip. Select your preferred method of return. Remove the original shipping label from the outside of the package and replace it with the selected return label. You can obtain your shipping label and a packing slip from HSN.com. If you don't have a packing slip, contact customer service at 1-800-284-3900 between 8 a.m. and 1 a.m. EST.
Editor's Take
So here's the thing about HSN-it's basically the OG of TV shopping, and honestly, it's kind of wild how it's evolved. Started back in 1977 as a radio show in Clearwater, Florida (yeah, radio), then jumped to cable TV in 1982. By 1985, it went national and basically invented the whole "buy stuff while watching TV" thing we now take for granted.
But HSN isn't your grandma's shopping channel anymore. Well, maybe it is, but it's also way more than that. They've gone full digital-streaming on YouTube TV, TikTok Shop, Hulu, you name it. The retailer reaches millions of customers via QVC+ and HSN+ streaming experience, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, websites, mobile apps, and social pages. It's everywhere you scroll, basically.
And the product range? Pretty much everything. Fashion, jewelry, electronics, home goods, beauty products, kitchen gadgets-that whole "curated assortment" thing they talk about actually means something. They've got exclusive brands you can't find elsewhere, plus partnerships with celebrities and influencers doing live shows. Joy Mangano holds the record for most units sold in a day with 216,000 units of pillow sets. That's a lot of pillows.
The company's had quite a journey. In January 2025, HSN closed its St. Petersburg headquarters and relocated to West Chester, Pennsylvania, home of parent company QVC Group. Big move after nearly 50 years in Florida. They're consolidating with QVC, which bought them back in 2017, and the whole operation is now focused on what they call "live social shopping"-basically making shopping more interactive and less transactional.
Here's what makes HSN different: it's not just about selling stuff. They do storytelling. Product demos. Celebrity appearances. Live shows where hosts actually explain why you might want that air fryer or those leggings. Fashion programming is their most-watched content, but they cover everything from tech to home décor. The FlexPay option (split your payments into installments) makes bigger purchases more manageable, which is pretty clutch.
Customer service is solid-24/7 phone support, live chat during business hours, and they're pretty responsive on social media. Returns are straightforward: 30-day return window for most items, and they even cover return shipping for exchanges. Not bad.
The parent company (QVC Group, formerly Qurate Retail Group) has had some financial struggles lately, but HSN's still pushing forward with this whole digital transformation thing. They're betting big on streaming and social commerce, trying to meet customers wherever they're already hanging out online. Whether you're watching on cable, scrolling TikTok, or browsing their app at 2 AM, they want to make it easy to impulse-buy that thing you didn't know you needed.
