What is the return window?
Depending on the type of rate that you've booked, IHG will allow you to cancel a reservation up to 24 hours to 72 hours until your check-in time. If you book a Best Flexible Rate you can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours before you're scheduled to check-in to receive a full refund.
Are there any items that are non-returnable?
A limited number of hotel stay purchases available on the Site cannot be canceled, and you will not be eligible for any refund of your IHG Rewards Club points and currency (if applicable). Non-refundable advance purchase rates are the cheapest options but come with the least flexibility.
How will I receive my refund?
If you cancel your Reward Night reservation in accordance with Reward Night terms and conditions and within the hotel's cancellation policy, the points will be immediately redeposited in your IHG One Rewards account. Points + Cash bookings can also be canceled 24 hours ahead of your scheduled check-in time for a full refund, but the cash portion of your reservation will not be refunded back in cash.
How do I start a return online?
To cancel your IHG hotel reservation, visit IHG's Manage Your Stay website. Fill in your hotel booking confirmation number and last name under the "Manage Your Hotel Reservation" section and then click "View Hotel Reservation." From there, you'll want to click the "Modify or Cancel" your reservation button and confirm you're canceling your reservation.
