Jupiter Flights Balloon Festival

It's a sky-high sendoff to summer through Sunday at Conner Prairie. Visit in the mornings to enjoy coffee as you watch races and in the evenings for the spellbinding glow of more than 45 colorful hot air balloons synced to live music with dance and choreographed motion. Preview the corn maze, ride the barrel train, sample wines from Oliver Winery, try Sun King's Blueberry Yonder beer, and take to the sky yourself on the 1859 Balloon Voyage. It's a magical way to end the season. Tickets are $15 and up.

Quest for the West Art Show and Sale

Celebrate Western storytelling Friday and Saturday at the Eiteljorg's 20th gathering of nearly 50 nationally recognized artistic trailblazers. Although the works will be exhibited through October 5, this weekend is the first chance to purchase pieces. It's also an opportunity to enjoy VIP experiences like meals, receptions, and meet-and-greets with the artists. Admission is $15 and up.

I Music Fest in The Square
This brand new festival is bringing vibes, variety, and energy to the International District on Saturday. The Square is hosting a full day of dance performers, bounce houses, a petting zoo, face painting, a beer garden, food trucks, and plenty of global grooves from favorites like Kingly T and Mellow Vibrations, Mariachi Sol Jalisciense, American Fools Band, and Toy Factory. All ages are welcome at this free event.

Miami Dolphins vs. Indianapolis Colts

The Colts have dedicated this season to late owner/CEO Jim Irsay, and Sunday's season opener will see him inducted as the 20th member of the Ring of Honor. It's a new era with new QB Daniel Jones taking the field at Lucas Oil Stadium and a redesigned defense under coordinator Lou Anarumo. Tickets are $67 and up.

Penrod Arts Fair and Evening with Penrod

The elegant white-tented walkways, lush Newfields lawns, and hundreds of diverse artists selling unique creations make Saturday Indiana's Nicest Day®. The largest single-day art fair in the country features rich programming like six performance stages, a children's zone, and nonprofit booths as well as local food and craft beverages. Tickets are $20. Looking for an upscale and exclusive preview? Evening with Penrod on Friday is a gala for those 21 and over that includes local food, bespoke beverages, unique live art and musical shows, and the opportunity to purchase art. Tickets are $175 and up.
