500 FESTIVAL MINI-MARATHON

Not only is the Mini one of the largest and most iconic half marathons in the U.S., it's also the first big race of Indy's month of May. More than 20,000 runners representing all 50 states and more than 16 foreign countries line up downtown Saturday to be part of The Greatest Spectacle in Running®, which includes a lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway track and the opportunity to kiss the bricks. Racers enjoy entertainment like DJs and live bands along the route, as well as thousands of spectators cheering them to the finish. Entry fees start at $70.

INDIANAPOLIS CULTURAL TRAIL SPRING PORCH PARTY

TrailMixer celebrations continue, and Saturday's free event on the Cultural Trail has everything to make being outdoors even more fun. This open-house-style party offers free lemonade and Tinker Coffee, face painting, a pop-up plant shop, dog treats, games and activities for kids, and plenty of swag that recognizes the incredible walkable and bikeable spaces along 800 miles of connected trails in the Greater Indy Trailways network.

Get a peek at the upcoming season Thursday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. This matchup should feature explosive energy from both teams as they head into the regular season. Tickets start at $15.

COFFEE WITH THE CURATOR - AMERICA 250 SERIES

Friday's free program at the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site shines a light on President Harrison's commitment to conservation. He shaped early policies and set aside millions of acres of public land, helping expand the national forest system. There's no doubt he recognized the importance of preserving natural resources for future generations. Enjoy a short, engaging bit of history with a complimentary cup of coffee.

HIGH TEA POP-UP AT GATHER 22

British elegance meets Midwest chic at this new pop-up event. Visit Saturday-Sunday through May 31 to sip, gossip, and indulge. Taste delicate pastries, savory sandwiches, fresh scones, classic teas, and elevated cocktails or mocktails as you dive into this Bridgerton-inspired high tea experience. Bring a group and soak in springtime vibes on the garden veranda. Tickets are $55 per person, and reservations are suggested.
