Legacy Fest Block Party

LEGACY FEST BLOCK PARTY

Kick off the weekend at the Madam Walker Legacy Center Friday for the Legacy Concert with Teddy Riley, GUY 2.0, and friends. We all know Teddy from his countless contributions to New Jack Swing. Tickets start at $66. Come back Saturday for the free Block Party featuring DJs, musicians, artists, makers, cultural programming, local food vendors, and family activities. Celebrate Black excellence and community built on the legendary, inspirational vibes of Madam C.J. Walker.

Experience food like never before at this new multi-sensory, immersive exhibit. See, smell, touch, and think about food as you learn the chemistry behind cooking, traditions and innovations throughout the years, and global perspectives. We all eat, so we are all connected in this way. This feast for both the mind and the senses is open through September 7, and is included with general admission of $24 and up.

JUNETEENTH IN INDIANAPOLIS - CELEBRATING EMANCIPATION DAY

Saturday will be a full day of celebration for the whole family. The fun steps off with a parade, rolls right into the festival, and closes with a bang at the fireworks show. Recognize freedom, unity, and community pride with marching bands, drumlines, live music, dancing, games, cultural exhibits, vendors, soul food, Black-owned businesses, and more. All events take place at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center. Admission is free, but a parking fee applies.

BLOOMBOX FESTIVAL AT THE HARRISON CENTER

This massive neighborhood party on Saturday spreads throughout the Old Northside and showcases Indy talent with music, art, dancing, food, and more. Tour the historic area to see unique gardens and architecture, check out the exhibits inside the center, then visit the artists' studios to watch works in progress and purchase original pieces. There's also a marketplace with jewelry, paintings, ceramics, textiles, and other handmade gifts. Admission is free, but donations are accepted.

INDIANA FEVER VS. ATLANTA DREAM
AT GAINBRIDGE FIELDHOUSE

The Fever are rising and undeniably hot, with four consecutive wins. Thursday's match will feature some of the top scorers in the WNBA: Kelsey Mitchell, Caitlin Clark, Allisha Gray, and Rhyne Howard, as well as former Chicago star Angel Reese who was recently traded to the Dream. It's also a Lucas Oil Family Night with special tickets that include meal vouchers and Fever hats. Tickets are $14 and up.
