Returns

What is the return window?
Ivy + Cloth can exchange items due to customer error up to 14 days after the date of delivery. This timeframe is relatively short compared to many online retailers, so you'll need to act quickly if something doesn't work out.

Are there any items that are non-returnable?
Final sale items and all holiday items are non-refundable/non-returnable. All accessories, drinkware, blankets, totes and hats/headwear are non-refundable/non-returnable. Christmas and holiday products will not be eligible for returns or exchanges after 12/22/24.

How will I receive my refund?
The total amount of the refund will not include the shipping fee for the original order or the return label fee. Once the return order is received, please allow up to 3-5 business days to review your items and issue a refund. It will depend on your bank and payment method on how long it will take to reflect in your account.

Who pays for return shipping?
Ivy + Cloth will provide a return label via email but the total amount of the refund will not include the shipping fee for the original order or the return label fee. For exclusive products, a $15 restocking fee will be deducted per exclusive product in addition to the return shipping fee.

How do I start a return online?
To start this process, please email [email protected] with your order number and the item, size, and color you wish to exchange it for. They will make you aware of the shipping fee for the new item(s), return label for the original item(s), and any price difference. Once that is agreed upon and settled, you'll receive an email confirming your exchange order along with the return label.

Editor's Take

So here's the thing about Ivy + Cloth-it's basically what happens when a family in North Carolina decides to make clothes that don't feel like they're trying too hard. They're a family owned business out of North Carolina who set out to create a brand that speaks to the everyday woman, and honestly? That's kind of their whole vibe.

The name itself is pretty clever when you think about it. The ivy plant is an evergreen that keeps climbing for the next big thing while cloth is a soft and simple fabric. It's this whole metaphor about growth and comfort existing together, which-okay, maybe a little on the nose, but it works. They started this brand with their basic everyday tees and have slowly added more pieces over time, building out from what customers actually wanted rather than just throwing everything at the wall.

And the fabric thing? They're serious about it. All of their apparel is made from soft and simple fabric that will make everybody feel comfortable - no matter what season of life they are in. Whether you're a new mom running on three hours of sleep or a college student juggling five classes, they want you to feel like you can actually breathe in their clothes. They want to have something for a new mom, to a hard working college student or even a seasoned margarita connoisseur - and everyone in between. That last bit about margarita connoisseurs? Yeah, they actually said that on their website.

What's interesting is their production approach. All of their items are made to order to ensure the highest quality possible for our customers. They are currently running on a 7-10 business day production timeframe. So you're not getting instant gratification here, but you're also not getting mass-produced stuff that's been sitting in a warehouse for months. All of their clothing is proudly packaged and shipped to your home from the USA, which matters to some people.

But let's be real for a second. The return policy is where things get a bit sticky. They can exchange items due to customer error up to 14 days after the date of delivery, and exclusive products have a $15 restocking fee deducted per exclusive product in addition to the return shipping fee. Some customers have found this frustrating, especially when sizing runs larger than expected. It's worth reading the fine print before you order.

The company operates out of a storefront on East Market Street in Smithfield, a small town about 30 miles southeast of Raleigh. Their roots ground them with a hard-working mentality and a kind soul that appreciates every person they come in contact with. They built the brand off the humbling saying to "treat others the way you want to be treated". Whether that philosophy always translates perfectly to customer service experiences seems to vary based on reviews, but the intention is there.

Ivy + Cloth is for people who want comfortable, casual women's clothing without a lot of fuss. The pieces are designed to be versatile basics that work whether you're running errands, teaching a classroom, or just existing on your couch. Just make sure you check their sizing carefully and understand the return terms before you commit.
