With the Pilot’s Venturer Vertical Drive, IWC Schaffhausen introduces the first tool watch engineered from the ground up for human spaceflight. From the innovative rotating bezel system replacing the crown to the 24-hour mission-time display, every detail responds to the unique demands of timekeeping in orbit.

The watch has been rigorously tested by IWC’s partner, Vast, the company building next-generation space stations. It has been certified for spaceflight and crew usage on board Haven-1, scheduled to become the world’s first commercial space station.

Moving through Time, forward and backward.

The new Perpetual Calendar ProSet addresses one of the last remaining challenges in perpetual calendar design: full forward and backward adjustability through a single crown position. A completely new module architecture, based entirely on gears and protected by five patents, makes setting the calendar as easy and intuitive as setting the time itself. The gear train leading to the moon phase display has also been re-engineered, resulting in a remarkable accuracy of one day’s deviation in 1,040 years.

The Perpetual Calendar ProSet debuts in three versions of the Big Pilot’s Watch, including two Le Petit Prince models with deep blue dials – paying tribute to the charming protagonist from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s timeless novel.

Explore with the Little Prince

Step inside our Space Station.

IWC Schaffhausen’s booth at Watches & Wonders is designed as a rotating wheel space station, complete with a 17-metre LED screen showing Earth from orbit and walls sculpted to resemble Haven-1’s flight panels. A sculpture at the heart of the booth depicts the Little Prince on his asteroid, B-612.
